The group includes Home Lending Auto Credit Cards & Merchant Services Personal Lending & Retail Consumer Lending Control and Consumer Lending Shared Services.
The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking the Head of Consumer Lending Risk Programs Governance. This executive will lead a team of managers and senior professionals who will engage and influence business heads regulators control management risk legal and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk. Key responsibilities for this executive include:
Strategic Oversight: Lead the design and execution of enterprise risk programs aligned with the companys risk appetite and regulatory expectations.
Governance Leadership: Chair or participate in governance committees such as the Enterprise Risk & Control Committee (ERCC) which escalates material risks to the Board
Policy Execution: Govern implementation of policies to ensure Consumer Lendings adherence to frontline responsibilities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with compliance legal operations and technology teams to integrate effective risk practices into frontline business processes.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare risk assessments lead risk governance-related communications and support governance financials and business office functions
Required Qualifications:
8 years of risk management business controls or compliance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
4 years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Extensive experience in risk management governance and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated strategic thinking problem solving and execution skills; insight and ability to proactively identify opportunities to innovate and improve the business
Exceptional people leadership relationship development and negotiating skills; ability to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and teams
Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business within large organizations
Strong proficiency with executive-level presentation materials and briefings and the ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and anecdotal feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions
Demonstrated career of successful program implementations
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements skills experience or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$250000.00 - $420000.00Benefits
