A Day in the Life of a Director of Radiology
The Director of Radiology oversees the integration of clinical and operational aspects of radiology services to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. This role involves active supervision of staff including training and performance evaluations to maintain excellence in service delivery. Challenges include managing budgets ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing the radiation safety program. Collaboration is key with frequent interactions with radiologists other hospital leaders and physician groups to coordinate and optimize radiology services across multiple sites. The role requires strategic planning and response to fast-paced changes in healthcare settings to maintain service quality and safety.

In Radiology Administration at CRMC we ensure that the entire imaging department runs smoothly efficiently and in compliance with the latest healthcare regulations. From managing schedules and optimizing workflows to ensuring imaging technology is up to date and properly maintained our team plays a critical role in keeping radiology services accessible and high-performing. We work closely with technologists radiologists and hospital leadership to ensure that patients receive timely imaging and providers have the diagnostic tools they need when they need them.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Required
- American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire
- ARRT Registered Technologist
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or work related experience of equal worth
Preferred
- Previous leadership experience in Radiology

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individuals experience level preferred education/certifications along with market conditions.Cuyuna Regional Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health financial security and overall well-being of our employees.
