Sheehy Ford of Richmond (Municipal) is seekingExperiencedMunicipalEVT Installers to join our team. As the EVT Installer you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and installing electronic motor vehicle equipmentonfederal and state vehicles in our municipal building.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized neat and safe bay
- A focus towards maintaining a safe work environment and neat bay
- Installing electronic equipment taking a stock car to a multi-functioning police vehicle
- Install batteries and checks electrical systems
- Ability to road test vehicles
- Some fabrication experience
Requirements
- EVT experience preferred
- Install emergency equipment into law enforcement vehicles
- Remove and re-install OEM vehicle interior trim
- Demonstrated success in car audio electronic equipment installation a plus
- Work well in team settings
- 12V experience necessary
- Light fabrication experience
- Ability to work in a temperature sensitive environment
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment testing to include background screening Motor Vehicle Record checks and drug screen
- Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
