We are excited to offer this volunteer role supporting our Ward Secretary. This role requires a friendly approachable volunteer who can help greet people answer the phone and support with administration.
You will support us to:
- greet visitors to the ward showing them to patients rooms (or finding a nurse to speak with them if required);
- answer the phone in the absence of the Ward Secretary;
- prepare paperwork and support packs and keep leaflet racks stocked up.
Time available is Thursdays from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.

St Gemmas Hospice is an independent Leeds-based charity and one of the leading hospices in the UK providing expert care and support for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses. We offer care to patients families and carers in the Hospices In-Patient Unit through the St Gemmas community team and at our Out-Patients.
We have around 300 employees working across the main Hospice site in Moortown Retail Hub in Bramley a large chain of charity shops and out in the community.
