Job Description

Face to Face Games is Canadas leader in trading card games. Were looking for a Trading Card Buyer (internally referred to as an Appraiser Associate) to join our Toronto retail team and help us provide outstanding service to players and collectors.


As a Trading Card Buyer you will work directly with customers purchasing Magic: The Gathering cards through our buy lists appraisals and in-store drop-offs.


What Youll Do

  • Evaluate and purchase Magic cards from customers (via buy lists appraisals walk-ins and drop-offs)
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Collaborate with the store team to ensure appraisals are accurate and efficient


What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of Magic: The Gathering cards and their market values
  • Familiarity with other games such as Pokémon Yu-Gi-Oh! Lorcana or Star Wars Unlimited (an asset but not required)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
  • Comfort interacting with customers face-to-face
  • Retail or appraisal experience (an asset but not required)


Compensation & Benefits

  • $20.81/hour part-time or full-time
  • Eligible for performance bonus after 6 months
