ABOUT

The AIS Infrastructure Group consists of four civil/vertical construction companies. Our services include infrastructure improvement heavy civil construction vertical construction site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Lubrication Technician is responsible for performing lubrication maintenance tasks on construction and industrial equipment. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction and industrial services projects. The Lubrication Technician must possess a strong knowledge of lubrication techniques equipment and materials and adhere to AIS Infrastructures safety standards and protocols.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine lubrication tasks on construction and industrial equipment including but not limited to greasing oil changes and fluid level checks.

Inspect and assess equipment for signs of wear leaks or other maintenance needs.

Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities including quantities used and equipment serviced.

Follow established maintenance schedules and prioritize work based on equipment needs and project requirements.

Collaborate with maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of lubrication tasks.



Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong knowledge of lubrication techniques and best practices.

Familiarity with different types of lubricants their applications and appropriate usage.

Ability to interpret equipment manuals and specifications to determine lubrication requirements.

Basic understanding of construction and industrial equipment and their lubrication points.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant certifications or licenses such as a lubrication technician certification are preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing lubrication maintenance on construction or industrial equipment.

Knowledge of equipment lubrication requirements and industry standards.

Familiarity with relevant lubrication tools and equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS

Work takes place primarily on construction sites or in industrial facilities.

Potential hazards include working at heights exposure to noise moving machinery and potentially hazardous substances.

Physical demands include standing walking climbing bending and lifting heavy equipment.

Work schedule may vary based on project needs including weekends and overtime.

Travel to project sites may be required.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

Proficiency in using lubrication tools and equipment.

Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and report maintenance needs.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify lubrication issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough lubrication activities.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Customer service skills to interact with clients or project stakeholders.

The position lifts heavy objects walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts pushes pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps sprints or throws objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multilimbed coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs. The employee must have excellent stamina.
