Facilities Manager

Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a unique opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of client properties including government accounts and gain exposure to high-level facilities management operations across up to 250 sites.

Location: Melbourne

Contract Type: Fixed Term 12 Months

Eligibility: Australian Citizens Only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead reactive and planned maintenance across a large property portfolio

  • Conduct annual inspections and NABERS assessments

  • Manage critical incidents and recovery plans

  • Oversee contractor performance and compliance

  • Maintain asset lifecycle plans and ensure data integrity

  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in FM delivery

  • Support financial reporting audits and budget forecasting

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Facilities Management

  • Strong client focus and ability to deliver results

  • Excellent communication planning and organisational skills

  • Financial acumen and systems/data management capability

  • Able to work independently and within a collaborative team

  • Experience in government or multi-site portfolios highly regarded
