JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires you to have received a work-study verify if you have received a work-study award please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account.A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job is available.The College of Liberal Arts is seeking applicants for the Federal Work Study job of Lab Research Assistant for the academic term of 2025-2026.
Job duties to include:
- organizing hair samples
- computerized data on hair images and facial features
- mount section and image scalp hair samples and to lead the image analysis portion of this project.
- For the facial analyses the RA will help accomplish the steps required to prepare facial scans for automated analyses.
The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.
Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus orremotely if possibleand at the discretion of the employer.
