ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists at Wilmington Hospital is located at 501 West 14th Street in Wilmington Delaware and Concord Health Center at 161 Wilmington Pike Chadds Ford Pennsylvania.

ChristianaCare Endocrinology Specialists provides specialized care for patients affected by diabetes metabolic issues and various endocrine disorders. The clinic is staffed by board-certified endocrinologists and certified diabetes educators who deliver top-tier diabetes care that encompasses medical treatment diabetes education and nutritional addition to diabetes management the facility offers extensive expertise in treating other endocrine and metabolic conditions including thyroid diseases osteoporosis metabolic bone disease menopause pituitary gland disorders and additional gland-related disorders.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
  • Will rotate through the Wilmington Hospital & Concord Health Center


Duties / Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant I you will beinvolved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice preparing them for virtual visits performing point of care testing injections medication administration and EKGs assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment completing patient-specific paperwork ensuring EMR is up-to-date handling patient call backs sterilizing medical equipment handling prior authorizations referrals and medical refills scheduling tests procedures and surgeries performing quality control on POCT equipment providing documentation assistance performing clerical duties troubleshooting patient issues with video visits and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCares Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Hourly Pay Range: $19.10 - $27.69

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills relevant experience and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
