Job Title: Surveillance & Access Control Technician -III (Hybrid) Location:Madison WI Duration: 12 Months
Overview: The Client is looking for a Surveillance and Access Control Technician -III.
Duties:
IT Professional that works in a team responsible for facilities-based systems including but not limited to surveillance door control building automation and telecommunication.
This work includes all aspects of design planning installation and support of the afore mentioned systems including supporting desktop PCs servers network devices storage solutions and surveillance-specific equipment.
Install configure maintain and monitor multiple state-wide networks we are filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler as well as mitigating issues as they arise.
Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
Work is performed at the agencys nearly 200 locations state-wide including the agencys many secure sites often independently.
Delegation and improvisational skills creativity adaptability and strong troubleshooting skills required. Day travel is also required and long days are common.
Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Surveillance network and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently performs a variety of tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

3 years of experience working with Video Surveillance Knowledge (Network/Server/Workstation)
3 years of experience with Cisco Networking Knowledge (Routers & Switches)
2 years of experience with Web Filtering Knowledge (Palo Alto & Zscaler)
