JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the management of the contract planning and execution of 3rd party vendors under routine Master Services Agreements (MSA). Oversees a team of multi-trade Planners and Technicians that will work as direct liaison with the vendors. Ensures all vendors meet the requirements set forth within Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX) standards local codes and regulations industry standards for care and contract documents. Manages all documentation related to labor/parts procurement preventative maintenance programs and regulatory requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the coordination planning and execution of 3rd party vendors for all scopes of work covered by the MSA across Universal Orlando Resort. Coordinate work schedule with the area/trade manager to accommodate both vendor and venue availability and assure all tooling and parts are available for project completion. Works closely with the facilities and utilities management team in planning projects providing a detailed scope of work written procedures estimated time materials resources needed for all work related to the MSA scope. Coordinate with all internal UDX teams to support the MSA overall objectives.
- Coaches and counsels all utility trade technicians. Develops reviews and delivers employee performance evaluations as well as personnel development plans.
- Supervises routine utilities maintenance PM schedules and operations. Ensures all emergency work and repairs are being performed. Ensures safety related items are completed as soon as possible. Coordinates activities with other Utilities Supervisors.
- Assists and coordinates as requested through work orders with ride & show and facility maintenance on all utilities / M.E.P. issues to ensure ride / venue readiness reliability and maximum operational availability.
- Function as the Facilities and Utilities Duty Supervisor as required. Requires working all shifts and days of the week.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED (Required)
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- 3 Years: Supervisory experience required in conjunction with 5 Years: (Required) Combination of operation and maintenance of Industrial / Commercial Utilities systems & components and associated auxiliary equipment
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
