What youll do and how youll have an impact
- Manage the accounts payable inbox ensuring timely responses to vendor inquiries and accurate invoice entry helping to maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Prepare weekly payment batches; and process ad hoc payment requests to ensure seamless and on-time payments.
- Assist with vendor profile setups and provide Concur support for employees including profile updates and expense inquiries improving user experiences across teams.
- Run ad hoc reports to deliver actionable insights and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct research to resolve inquiries related to payment statuses and vendor accounts acting as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes in accounts payable travel and expense management driving greater efficiency and compliance.
- Contribute to the overall success of the finance team by maintaining attention to detail meeting deadlines and supporting key financial initiatives.
What were looking for
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable accounting or a related finance role with a proven ability to manage financial processes accurately and efficiently.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting systems like NetSuite BILL Coupa and Concur (or comparable platforms) as well as advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUPs).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to research discrepancies identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with vendors employees and cross-functional teams.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial processes.
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive mindset to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements for accounts payable and expense management.
- Collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and a willingness to step in where needed to support the team and company objectives.
