We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology In this role you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of medical imaging technologies. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.
As an MD or DO in Radiology you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from interpreting X-rays CT scans MRIs and other imaging techniques to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of healthcare while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis.
- Perform and interpret a variety of imaging procedures such as X-rays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds.
- Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during imaging procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Document findings accurately in patient medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting a variety of diagnostic imaging techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of Radiology.
Level I trauma center
Setting: Onsite and remote (workstation will be provided)
Shift Information: Day swing or night 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 7 on/7 off
Daily Volume: 20-25 MSK MR 25 CTs rest PF
Team of 4
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
