Vessel Welder
Pay: $26/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Location: Catoosa OK

Position Overview
We are hiring skilled Vessel Welders to join a leading fabrication team in Catoosa. This position requires the ability to pass a 3G MIG/Flux Core weld test and involves working on vessels with precision and efficiency. A successful Vessel Welder will be self-motivated detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate advanced welding equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints weld symbols and work orders.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy appearance and compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Safely weld vessel components and ensure all work meets specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and advanced adjustments on welding machines to maintain efficiency.
- Participate in weld procedure improvement planning to enhance safety and productivity.
- Operate required tools and follow strict safety practices at all times.
- Handle small parts and complete basic data entry for maintenance and production reporting.
- Work in confined spaces and crawl in/out of vessels as required.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a 3G MIG/Flux Core weld test.
- Previous experience welding on vessels or heavy steel.
- Strong knowledge of volts amps and weld machine adjustments.
- Ability to detect defects and maintain production averages at or above standard.
- Basic math skills and safety training.
- Capable of lifting and handling heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
- 6 months of material handling experience or equivalent knowledge.
