Senior Project Developer Renewable Energy
Leap29 are working closely with a rapidly expanding developer investor and operator in the renewable energy sector. They have a strong pipeline of solar onshore and offshore wind and storage projects across European markets.
Your Role:
As Senior Project Developer youll oversee the entire project lifecycle for secured sites from early-stage development through to ready-to-build status. Reporting to the Business Development Director Germany youll play a key role in driving projects forward and ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project schedules budgets quality control risk management and internal reporting.
- Coordinate with internal teams partners advisors suppliers and authorities to ensure all RTB project requirements are met.
- Assess and manage offers from external service providers oversee order processing and provide support as needed.
- Contribute to financial models business cases and investment proposals for renewable energy projects.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress risks and mitigation strategies.
- Engage with local communities landowners developers and regulatory bodies to advance project development.
What Were Looking For:
- Degree (Masters Bachelors or equivalent) in Engineering Geography Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in renewable energy project development (PV or biomass; BESS experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of the project development process up to RTB status and familiarity with German regulations for PV and BESS projects.
- Native or fluent German with strong English skills.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently within Germany.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation communication and networking skills
