Role Summary

We have an excellent opportunity for an experiencedAWS Technical Consultantto join ourAWSservicesteam and play a key role in supporting our continued growth plans. These plans aim tosolidifyour position as aleadingglobalServices partner withAWS.Technical Consultants are expected to routinely act as the lead on large scale complex projects and provide mentoring to their fellow technical consultants.OurTechnical Consultants provide post-sales technical consultancy undertake delivery and implementation engagements as well as providing pre-sales qualification and design to consultancy engagements. A typical AWS Technical Consultant will have had five or more years experience in a technical consulting type role with an excellent understanding and experience of delivering AWS centric solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Working in close collaboration with thelocal(in-country)AWSsales and technicalteam along withthelocalRegional Service Centrethe core responsibilities of the role include but not limited to the following:

Project Delivery

  • Undertake individual consultancy assignments or work on a project as part of a larger team analysing customer requirementsgatheringand analysing data and recommending solutions

  • Technically manage theassessmentdesignand implementation of solutions

  • Ensure consultancy assignments are undertaken consistently and with quality

  • Highlight technical risks so that anyIngram Microexposure to commercial loss can be minimised

  • Be familiar harness anddeliver againstkey vendor programs including OLA MAP and WAFR

  • Produce and update assignment documentation as

  • Ensure that hand over to relevant support organisation is successfully completed

  • Provide technical support asrequested for internal and external customers

  • Lead and present at customer opportunities and workshop sessions

Pre-SalesScoping and Services Development

  • Lead or be part of customer scoping calls or workshop sessions

  • Lead and contribute to Statement of Works

  • Build andmaintaina good awareness of the internal SMEs areas of specialism

  • IdentifyotherIngram Microservice and sales opportunities

  • Support the development of the regional AWS services propositionssolutionsand GTM

  • Work with thought leaders withinIngram Microto allow for continued success and to helpidentifyareas of potential growthLead with qualification of designs and opportunities

Personal Skills Development

  • An active and contributing member of our regional AWS technical community

  • Build andmaintaina strong relationship with the channel partners internal technical team

  • Keepup-to-datewith current and future technologiesproductsand strategies

  • Build a solid skills foundation in chosen subject matter

  • Maintain relevant vendorcertifications

  • Build and enhance relationships with peers

  • Continue development of consultative skills

Qualifications and Experience

AnAWS Technical Consultantshould also have the following qualifications and experience:

  • AWS Professional/ SpecialtyCertification

ExpectedExperience (Design Deployment and Transformation)

  • 3years on AWScomplex cloud environments

  • AWS OptimisationLicensing and Assessment (OLA)

  • AWS MigrationAcceleration Program (MAP)

  • AWS Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR)

  • Compute services(e.g. EC2 containers serverless)

  • Monitoring/Observability tools (e.g.CloudWatch PrometheusDataDog)

  • CI/CD tools(e.g.CodePipeline/CodeBuild Jenkins GitHub Actions)

  • IaCtools (e.g.Terraform CloudFormation Serverless Framework)

  • Containersand orchestration tools (e.g.Docker ECS Kubernetes)

  • VPCs/Networking

  • Gen A/Iand Machine Learning

  • Migrations from VMware and/or Azure
