Position Summary

The Resource Sharing Supervisor is a vital leader within the Access Services team responsible for directing all resource sharing services including lending borrowing and document delivery. This role oversees staff and student employees ensuring efficient and timely operations through effective management and strategic workflow optimization. A key part of this position is to drive innovation and best practices by leveraging data analysis and collaborating with peers.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a minimum of three years in a supervisory role who excels at mentoring staff and driving innovation. They possess a strong background in resource sharing including expertise with platforms like ILLiad and Worldshare and a proven ability to optimize workflows through data analysis to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials.

Workplace Requirements

On-campus position: This position is exclusively on-site necessitating all duties to be performed in person at Fondren Library. Working hours will be 8:30 a.m.5:00 Rice policy 440 work arrangements may be subject to change.

Hiring Range

This is a full-time benefits-eligible position and theproposed salary range is $60813 to $69900 annually depending on qualifications and experience. Exempt (salaried) positions underFLSA are not eligible for overtime.
