Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a background in commercial roofing or construction
The Externals Group are seeking an Operations Manager in Norfolk to join a leading and established commercial roofing contractor recognized nationwide for delivering high-quality roofing and building envelope this role youll oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency profitability and the seamless delivery of projects.
A Day in the Life:
- Oversee company-wide operations aligning project delivery with business goals.
- Manage and support Project Managers Superintendents and field teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor budgets schedules and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes workflows and operational systems.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop strategies for growth and client satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years experience in an Operations Manager role (preferably within commercial roofing or construction).
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams projects and priorities.
- Strong financial and organizational management skills.
- Expertise in commercial roofing systems such as Single Ply Asphalt Hot & Cold Applied and Metal Roofing is preferred.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
