Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a background in commercial roofing or construction

The Externals Group are seeking an Operations Manager in Norfolk to join a leading and established commercial roofing contractor recognized nationwide for delivering high-quality roofing and building envelope this role youll oversee daily business operations ensuring efficiency profitability and the seamless delivery of projects.

A Day in the Life:

Oversee company-wide operations aligning project delivery with business goals.
Manage and support Project Managers Superintendents and field teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
Monitor budgets schedules and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations company policies and industry standards.
Drive continuous improvement in processes workflows and operational systems.
Work closely with senior leadership to develop strategies for growth and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

5 years experience in an Operations Manager role (preferably within commercial roofing or construction).
Proven ability to manage multiple teams projects and priorities.
Strong financial and organizational management skills.
Expertise in commercial roofing systems such as Single Ply Asphalt Hot & Cold Applied and Metal Roofing is preferred.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
