Position: Commercial Estimator
Salary Range: $1500 - $2000
Work hours: EST

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs for materials and labor for Division 9 (Drywall acoustical ceilings insulation painting etc.) scopes of work.
- Analyze and interpret construction documents including blueprints specifications and project manuals.
- Utilize estimating software (e.g. On-Screen Takeoff Planswift Bluebeam) to complete take-offs and build estimates. On-screen Takeoff experience is considered a plus
- Collaborate with project managers clients and subcontractors to understand project requirements and scope.
- Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Prepare and submit professional and well-organized bid proposals.
- Identify potential project risks and opportunities and communicate them to the project team.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of project estimates subcontractor bids and supplier pricing.
- Stay current with industry trends material costs and new technologies in Divisions 9.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator with a strong focus on Division 9 and take-offs.
- Solid understanding of commercial construction processes materials and methods.
- Proficiency in estimating and take-off software (e.g. On-Screen Takeoff Planswift Bluebeam etc.).
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Degree/experience in structural engineering a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering plans and specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
