ALBS is an Air Liquide entity in Kuala Lumpur regrouping for the APAC scope its Business Service Centers (Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai) as well as the two Global Functions (IT Digital and Procurement). Designed to derive optimal value by better leveraging technology people and competencies the ultimate goal is to boost efficiency and deliver outstanding and sustainable performance while keeping a strong focus on customer centricity. This Organization is striving for excellence adopting the Best in Class models to deliver value through simplification and standardization of processes while adhering to Internal controls and compliance requirements.
Provides leadership and project management across cross-functional teams including Procurement Supply Chain and Commercial with respect to status issues risks and project goals and objectives to ensure timely and effective completion of scope integration of ESM & ALAM activities
In collaboration with the ALGEM Managing Director research and identify Best-In-Class Supply Chain strategies processes and organizational structures to allow the organization to implement and maintain effective operations.
Publish regular updates to APAC Stakeholders (Steerco Management team etc.) to provide visibility point of attentions and recommendations linked to the activity managed by ALGEM (Performance Cost control Efficiencies etc. )
Freight Forwarder Management
Pilot the execution of RFQ with Freight Forwarders every 6 months
Ensure application of the AL Group Frame agreement with the Freight Forwarders
Develop relationship with new Freight Forwarders to meet ALGEM Business requirements
Logistic Control
Drive the ALGEM Logistics efficiencies program for ALGEM and AL Affiliates
Monitor the robustness of ALGEM Logistics costs structure by focusing on : Logistic Gross Margin Heel Credit improvement Container Lease & rotation management ... etc
Control and Lead the closing of ALGEM Sales at the end of each month in close collaboration with the ALGEM Operations Controller through the Month End Closing process
Ensure shipments/orders/assets handled by ALGEM are fully covered/protected by the Marine Cargo Insurance in close collaboration with the AL Group Corporate Team: submit forecast and re-forecast.
The successful candidates needs to have the following abilities:
1. Skilled in handling figures (including economics costs impacts P&L simulation etc...)
2. Ability to work efficiently in a very international environment with people coming from all around the world (China Taiwan Japan Korea Singapore Europe US etc..)
3. Strong understanding about AL and suppliers market. Domain in electronics industry (IC and FPD) knowledge of ESM and international logistics are strongly preferred.
4. Strong business development skill with reference in winning big projects.
5. Complex project management abilities.
6. Very organized rigorous reliable analytical transparent diligent and independent
