Job Description

Job Title:Advanced Social Worker - Children in Need
Location:Leeds
Pay Rate: 37 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Advanced Social Worker to join its clients Children in Need team seeking a highly experienced professional with a passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional ready to lead on complex cases and mentor the next generation of social workers.

What will your responsibilities be

As an Advanced Social Worker youll manage a high and complex caseload co-work with less experienced colleagues and ensure consistency and quality across the service. Youll be a key figure in embedding excellent practice sharing knowledge and driving performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead on complex case assessments and interventions
  • Co-work and mentor junior staff to build capability and confidence
  • Chair planning and review meetings with clarity and authority
  • Disseminate best practice and learning across the team
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners
  • Uphold Council values and safeguard children at every turn
  • Meet performance indicators and statutory timescales

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have

  • Social Work qualification (BA/MA/DipSW)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Evidence of mentoring or practice educator experience

  • Personal integrity and resilience under pressure
