Our Legal and Privacy team is the primary legal partner for Equativs business leaders across the globe.
Team members provide regulatory support and advice; they grow in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Key day-to-day responsibilities: Data protection and privacy
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating data protection agreements (DPA) related to a wide variety of contracts across all business units (Europe APAC MENA Americas).
- Drafting reviewing any privacy policy impact analysis of the Group.
- Support in the exercise of the individual rights answers process
- Creating and updating DPA templates for Equativs services platform or for new features or services
- Developing guidelines playbooks procedures and training sessions on DPA process and best practices to optimize our efficiency and build legal framework.
- Supporting and advising business leaders daily on any data protection and privacy risks related product partnerships and participate to business discussions and answers to RFPs.
- Monitoring data privacy international laws regulations and case law that are applicable to the ad tech industry and elaborate notes on said regulations and laws.
- Participation to the maintenance of data protection internal documentation
- Taking part into long-term data protection projects
Compliance :
- Supporting and advising other departments of the Group Companies related to the rollout of global compliance (privacy AI ISO etc.)
Artificial Intelligence:
- Analyzing legal issues related to projects involving AI tools and coordination with other departments.
- Implementation of AI governance and policy training sessions within the Group
- Maintain internal AI compliance documentation
Legal Monitoring:
- Tracking of applicable regulations in digital law personal data protection law artificial intelligence cybersecurity.
- Alerting on new legal framework to take into account and participate to elaboration and execution of related compliance projects
- Implementing on going audit compliance process
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree in digital and data protection / data privacy law or a similar domain
- 3-5 years experience as a Legal Counsel - privacy and data protection
- Experience in reviewing drafting and negotiating DPA
- Ability to deliver at pace juggle competing priorities and build strong relationships with any business and department leaders.
- Ability to translate legal language into clear business language.
- Strong analytical skills and synthesis spirit
- At ease with confidentiality and fast evolving environment
- Team spirit willing to help
- Fluency in French & English (both written and spoken) is mandatory
Nice to have but not mandatory:
- Experience as a Legal Counsel in a digital environment
- Experience of working with a data protection officer in an international environment
- Strong interest in emerging technologies innovation and digital advertising technologies
