Job Summary
Join a mission-critical team supporting global infrastructure development and influence operations. NS2 Mission is seeking a Systems Engineerwith a strong background in technical operations systems deployment and information security. This role requires a technically versatile professional capable of maintaining configuring and training on advanced operational systems in support of national security missions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance deployment and user training of technical systems and capabilities.
- Learn and manage a wide array of mission-specific tools and technologies.
- Facilitate smooth transition of capabilities from development teams to operational users.
- Maintain knowledge and readiness to deploy infrastructure in support of technical capabilities.
- Stay current with platform and technology updates that may impact operational tools.
- Ensure systems and capabilities are deployable on short notice in response to mission needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to Sponsor personnel.
- Collaborate with technical operators to deploy systems resolve issues and gather new requirements.
- Collect and collate data from various platforms/formats and deliver it for further analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years: Networking (Windows & Linux) cloud provisioning use of online services in persona-driven environments web configuration or webpage development.
- 2 years: Software development experience.
- 4 years: Developing technical operations plans using various tools and platforms.
- 4 years: Interpreting operational requirements and selecting suitable technical solutions.
- 3 years: Misattributed procurement and payment handling.
- 3 years: Persona identity management and operational anonymity.
- 3 years: Operational security (OpSec) compliance.
- 3 years: Use and configuration of VPNs and proxies (e.g. residential mobile).
- 3 years: SIM and eSIM technologies for mobile operations.
- 2 years: Experience with incident tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- 3 years: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years: Experience with CONUS and OCONUS operational environments.
- 2 years: Familiarity with surveillance detection and routing techniques.
- 2 years: Management and troubleshooting of social media and internet capabilities.
- 1 year: Data extraction from social media and online platforms.
Position Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with an FSP
