- 12 12 12-month contract with a premier Commonwealth agency
- Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance Required
- Deliver complex ICT business analysis supporting critical government systems and reform initiatives
Resolve Recruit is partnering with a major Commonwealth Government department to engage up to five experienced ICT Business Analysts.
These roles are across two teams responsible for:
- Sustaining and supporting enterprise-wide systems using a variety of technologies and integration platforms.
- Delivering business analysis services across complex ICT environments defining business needs processes and requirements and enabling effective collaboration between business stakeholders and technology teams.
In these roles you will work on both new and updated projects that serve as the source of truth for operational policies and procedures as well as assessments of current systems. You will facilitate workshops develop business analysis artefacts and support Agile delivery teams in achieving critical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and manage business engagement with a focus on ICT systems and departmental reform.
- Produce artefacts including as-is/to-be business process maps user stories requirements BPMN models cost-benefit analyses and benefits realisation plans.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to create user stories support backlog refinement and guide Agile delivery practices.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to validate requirements and align ICT solutions with business needs.
- Undertake benefits analysis realisation and cost-modelling activities.
- Work across multiple concurrent projects and systems ensuring alignment with departmental and whole-of-government requirements.
- Communicate complex information clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in ICT software delivery projects.
- Strong background working in complex ICT environments across bespoke off-the-shelf and cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated experience producing business analysis artefacts as outlined above.
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery teams and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Security Requirements:
Applicants must hold an active Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
