Job Summary
About the role
Our client a specialist in pressure pipe vessel and structural steel fabrication is seeking skilled Pipe Welders / Pipe Fitters for site-based projects at Yatala. Youll assemble fit and weld piping systems to exacting standards with a strong focus on safety accuracy and quality.
Skills & Experience
- Weld GTAW (stainless) & MMAW (carbon steel all positions)
- Proven pressure pipe vessel & structural welding experience
- Read & interpret drawings and P&ID with accuracy
- Ability to pass ASME IX 6G weld & pipe fitting tests
- Strong communication problem-solving & safety focus
- Speed an accuracy
Tickets & Licences
- Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication OR1st Class Welder qualification)
- Construction Industry White Card
- HRWL Forklift (preferred)
- Full Australian working rights Brisbane-based
