Undergrad Intern - Operations - New Albany OH (Summer 2026)

What You Will Do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. The co-op runs from January 2026 to May 2026 at our New Albany OH conjunction with project work you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions one-on-one mentoring and various networking events.

Responsibilities may include:

• Working with the engineering maintenance and manufacturing teams on packaging line commercial support and commissioning and qualification support of new packaging lines leveraging your analytical leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Working cross-functionally to identify problems measure the current state and develop present and implement recommendations.
• Networking with colleagues across the company and enjoy full access to Amgens Employee Resource Groups.

Basic Qualifications:

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

• 18 years or older
• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelors Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
• Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelors degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
• Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree concentration in Engineering; Mechanical Electrical or related degree
• Previous Co-op or internship experience
• Strong communication interpersonal organizational project management problem solving analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated personal initiative self-motivation flexibility and adaptability
• Proven leadership experience on campus (e.g. projects clubs organizations sports)

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $24.70 - $28.30 an hour.
