About the role

We are offering a permanent opportunity for an experienced Water Industry Technician. Based in Broome you will be responsible foroperating repairing and maintaining advanced water/wastewater plants to optimize process and delivery outputs through monitoring analysis and corrective action.

What you can expect with this role

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled (breakdown) maintenance in complex treatment plants (Chlorination fluoridation Caustic and media filtration).
• Using your full range of trade skills to operate and maintain a treatment plant.
• Taking control of worksite including where contractors are employed.
• Identifying faults and coordinating repairs (or within trade scope undertakes these).
• Participate in a 24/7 on call/standby roster.

About you

• Trade Certificate - Electrical or Mechanical
• Certificate III National Water Package (Treatment) or willing to work towards.
• WA C MR Class drivers licenses
• Relevant High Risk Licences LF EWP DG CV
• Trained and competent in Confined Space Entry
• Trained and competent in the use of SCADA and atmospheric monitoring equipment
