Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) – Ortho Surgery

Heres What You Need

Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma

BSN (Preferred)

1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)

Ortho or Ortho Trauma experience as a registered nurse in the Operating Room

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Preferred)

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills

Assesses the patient

Plans the care of the patient

Intervenes as appropriate

Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

Work hours: Full Time Days- 40 hrs/week. (Rotating on call and holiday coverage)
