SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning coordination and execution of projects and initiatives across the university. This role is responsible for managing timelines facilitating communication among stakeholders and ensuring committees and working groups remain focused on deliverables and aligned with institutional goals. The Project Coordinator also provides support for educational technology platforms (such as D2L/Brightspace) to enhance teaching learning and administrative operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across committees working groups and departments.
- Develop project plans track progress and provide status updates to leadership.
- Serve as a resource for faculty staff and students in using the universitys learning management system (LMS) and other digital platforms as needed.
- Provides administrative support to high level administrators.
- Develops reviews monitors and communicates administrative policies procedures standards projects and assignments made by the supervisor.
- Assist with troubleshooting training and user support for educational technologies.
- Organize and maintain project documentation reports and meeting notes.
- Help identify risks challenges and resource needs proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure projects align with university policies accreditation requirements and strategic initiatives.
- Plans coordinates and supports special events workshops or trainings related to project and committee work.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelors degree in education business administration project management or a related field. Experience can be substituted for education in a related field.
- Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Three years of related experience in project coordination/administration. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
- Ability to: Work well as part of a team. Learn and support educational learning management technologies (e.g. D2L Blackboard Canvas Zoom).
- Licensing/Professional Certifications: None
- Physical Requirements: May require some light lifting (less than twenty-five pounds) as needed. Ability to sit or stand for an extended period of time while at a computer workstation.
- Other Requirements: This position is exempt and assignments may require working outside of the normal work hours when requested.
