Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Optical Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical networking and be able to design implement and maintain complex network infrastructure. This is a full-time permanent position based in Islamabad Pakistan. Key Responsibilities: - Design configure and maintain optical network infrastructure - Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network solutions - Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements - Conduct regular network audits and implement security measures - Maintain documentation of network configurations and changes - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in optical networking technology - Provide support and training to junior network engineers Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in optical networking - Extensive knowledge of optical transport technologies such as DWDM OTN and SDH - Experience with network design and configuration tools - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP JNCIA) are a plus Benefits: - Competitive salary - Health insurance - Paid time off - Professional development opportunities - Collaborative and dynamic work environment If you are a highly motivated and skilled Optical Network Engineer looking for a new challenge we encourage you to apply for this position.
