A well-established technology distributor is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead its Central European commercial operations. With a strong footprint across EMEA the business delivers high-performance components and solutions to innovation-driven clients across sectors.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving growth across both OEM distribution and high-value solution sales. Youll lead a team of 10 highly technical sales engineers (many to PhD level) and play a pivotal role in reshaping the sales function to meet ambitious growth targets.
Your Impact
- Lead & Develop: Inspire and coach a technically advanced sales team to deliver commercial results.
- Drive OEM Growth: Maintain and expand revenue from existing OEM distribution channels.
- Accelerate Solution Sales: Identify and prioritise customers with potential for value-added services technology scouting integration and packaging with a goal to grow this segment from 20% to 50% over the next 3 years.
- Customer Engagement: Build deep relationships with key clients uncovering challenges that can be solved through tailored solutions.
- Team Evolution: Expand and reshape the sales organisation to align with strategic goals and future market needs.
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading technical sales teams in the DACH region or Central Europe.
- Strong understanding of OEM distribution and solution-based selling in high-tech or engineering-led sectors.
- Ability to engage with technically sophisticated customers and team members.
- Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and hands-on leadership style.
- Fluent in German and English.
