An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ormiston Denes Academy for a passionate and experienced teacher to join our well-established team in the role of SENCo. We are seeking an ambitious dedicated professional who is determined to make a meaningful difference to students with additional needs ensuring they receive the support and opportunities required to thrive both academically and personally.
You will be a committed advocate for students with additional needs with a strong track record of leading SEND provision and driving inclusive practices that make a measurable impact on student outcomes. You will either hold or be working towards the National Professional Qualification for SENCOs or the NASENCO qualification. You will uphold and continue to develop a well-embedded culture of inclusion across the academy ensuring that all students regardless of need embody our values of Ready Responsible Respectful Kind and Proud.
You will be leading a well-established team of Learning Support Assistants offering strategic direction mentoring and day to day support. Your role will involve working closely with staff students and families to ensure that SEND provision is both effective and compassionate and that every student can thrive.
