Job Description

The Harbor Pilot has responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the barges inside of the Catlettsburg KY Harbor. Along with the following duties:

Responsible for tow configurations drop-offs pick-ups and duties of other crew members.
Overseeing the work of the crew members (Deckhands and Mates).
Has direct control and responsibility of the boat barges and crew members.
Uses radar to determine the geographic position of the vessel for safe Navigation.
Coordinates the activities of crew members responsible for signaling devices such as the vessels whistle flashlight flags and radio to signal vessels in vicinity.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma/ GED.
Valid Drivers License.
Valid TWIC & MMC Credential
