Job Summary
As Studio Manager for our Barcelona studio youll spearhead a revolution in content creation blending traditional filmmaking with GenAI and virtual production technologies. Youll guide a diverse team of creatives and tech innovators crafting immersive shopping experiences that redefine e-commerce. Key job responsibilities
- Provide strong people management overseeing interdisciplinary teams and fostering their growth and development
- Drive operational efficiency while ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment
- Spearhead the adoption and integration of new technologies including GenAI and virtual production techniques
- Establish and maintain structures that enable your team to solve complex problems and deliver results
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent enhancing the teams skills and expertise
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and career development conversations with team members
- Manage and optimize workloads ensuring work-life harmony while meeting business goals
- Create a culture of active listening valuing team input and taking appropriate action
- Partner with stakeholders to define and communicate the teams vision using Amazons peculiar mechanisms
- Drive discussions with the right stakeholders resulting in impactful decisions
- Define and track metrics to measure team progress customer experience and operational excellence

- Bachelor in Filmmaking Media Studies Art Business or related field
- Fluency in English and Spanish/Catalan
- Proven experience in managing large-scale content studios or similar creative environments
- Strong background in filmmaking virtual production and new content creation technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop interdisciplinary teams
- Experience balancing operational financial and strategic aspects of a business unit
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of GenAI and its applications in content creation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Amazons leadership principles and ability to evangelize them
- Experience working in e-commerce or retail environments
- Track record of implementing innovative technologies in content production
