Job Description
Objective
The Marketing Assitant will support BYD Italys Marketing Department with responsibilities including the localization of marketing materials coordination of payment processes support for marketing events and provision of day-to-day administrative assistance.
This role requires frequent communication with BYD Europe headquarters and BYD Headquarters in China; therefore strong cross-cultural adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential. The role requires a proactive flexible mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Chinese is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with BYD Europe and China headquarters to ensure marketing materials are localized and tailored to the Italian market;
- Handle internal and external payment processes and liaise with the Finance Department to ensure timely settlement;
- Support and execute various marketing events including event preparation supplier communication and on-site support;
- Provide daily marketing and administrative support completing diverse tasks assigned by the department to ensure efficient team operations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing event coordination or administrative support;
- Proactive and solution-oriented able to work independently without the need for micromanagement;
- Adaptable to changing processes and shifting priorities;
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail;
- Positive team-oriented mindset with strong customer focus;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and Italian;
- Knowledge of the Italian business environment and cultural context.
