Job Summary

Join our innovative startup environment within the established Axpo Group in Madrid! As a Quality Engineer youll shape our Quality Assurance & Testing strategy across multiple workstreams ensuring software excellence through both manual and automated testing approaches.
What you will do:
- Develop maintain and execute manual and automated test scripts using Tricentis qTest TOSCA Playwright or Cypress
- Collaborate with software developers Product Owners Business Analysts and stakeholders to design comprehensive test cases
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test repositories
- Serve as the main QA/QE point of contact for projects defining and implementing best practices
- Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on industry best practices
What you bring & who you are:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field with a proactive approach to quality assurance
- Strong background in Automation Testing and solid experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency with test management tools (Tricentis qTest Zephyr XRAY) and automation tools (Tricentis Tosca Playwright Cypress)
- Good programming skills in Java Python or C#
- Fluent in English; German and Spanish are advantageous
- Ideally experience with SAP Testing (FI CO HR modules) and Performance Testing background
