Curently we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Costa Mesa location.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 6:30pm & Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES - Greets warmly and maintains a friendly welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators and any external connections.
- Clearly communicates with all staff including clinical and corporate employees in a friendly and courteous manner
- Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
- Participates in and adheres to as required the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group
- Escalates patient issues and concerns as needed to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
- Scheduling patient s initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a Plus
- Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidential documents
- Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
- Possess strong team player attributes
- Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients near by
Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18)
Experience: Practice Management System knowledge patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting some walking bending stooping reaching and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard mouse photocopier telephone calculator and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and present reports. No travel is required.
