As an Independent Contractor this role is a combination of leadership and team management as well as being an individual contributor in a Senior React Developer capacity.
Technical leadership and team management responsibilities:
- Leading a team of front-end engineers providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Delegating tasks and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
- Facilitating daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives
- Reviewing and approving code contributions from team members
- Supporting onboarding and skills development of junior Engineers
- Acting as the primary point of contact for engineering-related decisions within the front-end team
As an individual contributor you will be a key contributor to the front-end development of SysTrack our AI-driven Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform. This role requires a solid foundation in web UI development and user interface design along with experience in databases and data visualization. Its an exciting opportunity to support cutting-edge technology and learn from a high-performing engineering team.
Requirements
- Refactoring and optimizing front-end code for performance and scalability
- Building responsive user-friendly web UIs
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams on feature implementation
- Creating and enhancing data visualizations to make complex data clear and actionable
- Participating in Agile processes including planning stand-ups and retrospectives
Experience
- BS in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a relevant field
- 3-5 years experience in front-end development
- Fluency in English is essential
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript and frameworks like React
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- A drive to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for solving problems through technology
