NOW HIRING Ice Rink Technicians for the 2025-26 Season for our Ice Rink in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Roebling Rink located under the iconic Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn Bridge Park NY has quickly become New Yorks most scenic ice rink offering skaters a breathtaking panoramic views of skylines and the historic Dumbo neighborhood while skating riverside.
Ice-America is proud to produce the ice rink under the Brooklyn Bridge and we are currently hiring Ice Technicians for this luxurious location. Skaters and non-skaters alike are encouraged to apply for this fun and exciting event designed to engage the community during the holiday season!
Ideal candidates would be available beginning 11/15/2025 through 2/15/2026.
Ice Rink Technicians: Hiring Ice Technician with experience in ice maintenance ice resurfacing skate sharpening and mechanical skills. Having an understanding of refrigeration systems is helpful. Basic plumbing and carpentry skills are beneficial to the role. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates will need to be self-motivated have a strong sense of urgency and possess the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required. Ice Tech will be responsible for day-to-day ice maintenance resurfacing refrigeration equipment monitoring and following Ice-America reporting policies. CPR and First Aid certifications preferred but not required.
Compensation dependent upon experience ranging from $24-28/hour. This position offers flexible set scheduling. This is a seasonal position. Full time year round employment is available at our Flanders NJ warehouse after the season.
Ice-America a division of Seaside Ice LLC is a creator producer and operator of outdoor temporary ice-skating rinks and an ice event and television production group. We offer rapid deployment of turn-key portable ice rinks and operations in the US and Canada. We can literally make ice overnight and create unique entertainment events for communities businesses and other customers. We are searching for energetic hardworking people to be a part of our team!
