Job Summary

Journeyman Technician

Locations: Orange County CA/ Los Angeles county CA

Salary: DOE

Install troubleshoot diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (RTUs chillers boilers pumps VAVs AHUs cooling towers etc.).
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
Test electrical circuits components and wiring to diagnose malfunctions using proper testing equipment.
Interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
Calibrate and adjust HVAC system controls including building automation and energy management systems.
Document service and repair activities accurately (work orders time sheets equipment logs).
Communicate effectively with customers supervisors and dispatch regarding service status and recommendations.
Follow all safety standards OSHA guidelines and company procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other technicians apprentices and union members as required.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as needed.
