Job Description
Journeyman Technician
Locations: Orange County CA/ Los Angeles county CA
Salary: DOE
- Install troubleshoot diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (RTUs chillers boilers pumps VAVs AHUs cooling towers etc.).
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Test electrical circuits components and wiring to diagnose malfunctions using proper testing equipment.
- Interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
- Calibrate and adjust HVAC system controls including building automation and energy management systems.
- Document service and repair activities accurately (work orders time sheets equipment logs).
- Communicate effectively with customers supervisors and dispatch regarding service status and recommendations.
- Follow all safety standards OSHA guidelines and company procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians apprentices and union members as required.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as needed.
