Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Certified or Registered Medical Assistants (Level I or II) to float between pediatric clinics located in Raleigh and West Cary NC. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about working in pediatrics within a high-energy team-based setting. Youll be part of a practice that prioritizes quality care family support and professional collaboration.

Tasks
Key Responsibilities (Both Levels):
- Assist with clinical operations and support the provider schedule.
- Record detailed timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Perform routine patient assessments such as height weight vision and hearing screenings.
- Administer pediatric vaccinations and document accordingly.
- Conduct in-house lab testing (e.g. strep mono RSV).
- Ensure compliance with OSHA HIPAA and CLIA regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain professional communication.
- Provide compassionate family-centered care to patients and their families.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Level I:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (CLIA-compliant); degree in a science field preferred.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Working knowledge of pediatric vaccination protocols.
- Experience collecting lab samples including venipuncture.
- Competency with electronic health records.
Level II (Includes Level I Requirements):
- At least 6-12 months experience fulfilling Level I duties.
- Proficient in administering medications (e.g. Rocephin Bicillin Synagis).
- Understanding of chronic and complex pediatric conditions.
- Experience coordinating appointments and lab testing.
- Background in care coordination roles.
- Ability to mentor peers and improve workflow processes.
