Job Summary
WFLA News Channel 8 is looking for a do-it-all producer to be a key member of our highly-specialized Stream Center team. The Stream Center Producer is tasked with a variety of duties including producing directing editing and posting of video content. The role will help manage CTV video distribution and programming for our 24/7 streaming app.
Responsibilities:
- Producing directing editing and posting of Stream Center video content viaOBS Studio
- Assist in CTV video distribution including live-hostedvideo in both unedited and breaking news formats
- Help gather information b-roll and visual elements for a successfulOBSstream
- Interest in/willingness to learn and understand successful IT and engineering setups for livestreaming
- Desire to experiment and innovate in an evolving digital space while maintaining professionalism and journalistic principles
- Basic understanding of camera settings studio lighting and audio processing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in journalism or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written and ability to work well with team members
- Proficiency with social media and the understanding of digital content creation
- Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
