Job Title:Student Worker - Peer Student Money Management Coach

Job Classification: Business Operations Student

Department:Student Success & Engagement

Hiring Manager:Jason Rounke

Contact:

Work Schedule: 10 hrs per week between the hours of 8am and 5pm

Desired Length of Employment:Fall/Spring/Ongoing

Pay Rate:$10.00

Job Description:

Student Money Management Coaches will be charged with: Offering individualized assistance to students on a variety of personal finance topics such as budgeting managing credit financial goal setting saving investing and methods of paying for college.
-Connecting students with resources across campus to make sure they receivethe best information possible.
-Assisting the Program Manager with the development of financial wellness programing content and marketing material.
-Facilitatingworkshops presentations and other outreach efforts.
-And other duties as required.
The Department will provide trainingthat takes coaches through the essential steps of money management and coaching methods.
Experience with any of the following is also highly desired: marketing social media data collection and analysis academic literature review or an interest in presenting at professional and academic conferences.
