Job Summary
Quarry Worker
Polycor Pennsylvaniais looking for hard-working positive team players to fillGeneral Quarry Workerpositions at ourElverson PAlocation. This is a year-round outdoor job involving the extraction of granite from our quarry.
Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling equipment.
- Operate saws to cut large blocks of granite from the open pit quarry.
- Follow policies and procedures to assure quality work.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Work safely according to guidelines and training to prevent possible injuries to self and others.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirement:
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform work outdoors regardless of weather and the elements.
- Must be willing to work overtime if required.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Being comfortable with heights.
- Lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
Training:
We offer training that will advance your knowledge skills and abilities within the industry. No experience necessary.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand walk sit climb ladders balance and stoop kneel and crouch.
Working Conditions:
- Employment status: Permanent / Full-time.
- Monday to Thursday 6h00 a.m. to 4h30 p.m.
- Salary rate starting at $2300/hours
