We are looking for a motivated and results driven Business Development Manager to help take our freight forwarding business to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving revenue expanding market share and building strong client relationships across both air and ocean freight services.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow the companys air and ocean freight business/services in accordance with the sales strategy

Serve as the main sales contact point for assigned customers.

Find develop and qualify leads then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers

Maintain a sales pipeline to achieve agreed growth targets

Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships making customer calls and closing deals

Drive the business and grow the companys revenue market share and profitability

Build relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner including presentations to the customers and representation at industry events.

Incorporate the daily use of the Global CRM platform to document sales activity and relevant customer business details.

  • Proven track record in business development client relationship management and selling freight forwarding or related services

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident presenter with the ability to influence and adapt to different audiences

  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Customer focused commercially minded and driven to achieve results
