Location: Hackensack NJ 07601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Category: Travel / Contract
Schedule: 36 hours per week 3x12-hour shifts Nights (6:45 PM 7:15 AM) Every other weekend & holidays as required
Pay Rate: Local: $1552.50 $1725 weekly Travel: $2055 weekly
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapistfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Hackensack NJ.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory therapy under medical direction including education treatment management diagnostic evaluation and patient care for cardiopulmonary conditions.
Assist with intubation procedures and perform ventilator set-up and management.
Assess patient needs conduct testing and collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Deliver and document patient/caregiver education as appropriate.
Build strong rapport with patients families and team members to support patient-centered care.
Float as needed to adult ICU areas intermediate care and basic intermediate care floors.
Adhere to organizational standards competencies and safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a licensed RRT.
At least 1 year of ICU experience.
Proven experience with ventilator management.
Ability to float across multiple adult care units.
Strong adaptability accountability and teamwork skills.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.
Certifications & Licensure
Active New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist license (no temporary licenses).
Active New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
BLS (AHA).
ACLS.
PALS.
