The Senior HR Business Partner is a strategic role responsible for coaching advising and supporting the leaders and employees at Vertafore. They will also contribute to developing implementing and enhancing human resource policies that align with organizational goals and support employee engagement and Vertafore culture. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to identify and address hidden issues that may impede the companys success. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with employees at all levels and influence organizational outcomes. The Sr. HR Business Partner will support several key departments within our organization and will contribute to our team to build and lead an integrated HR approach for organizational success.
Core Requirements and Responsibilities:
Act as a coach consultant ambassador of the Vertafore Way analyst change agent and expert within support areas
Serve as a lead within the HR Business Partner team coaching on day-to-day questions
Build strong partnerships with client groups at all levels of the organization to foster trust credibility and accountability ensuring the business needs are met in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality
Drive business results by identifying key HR issues within the departments you support and present recommendations and alternatives to increase effectiveness and engagement. Use data to support these initiatives
Participate in special project work in the HR function including driving process improvement facilitating communication and balancing the needs of employees with the needs of the organization
Perform ad-hoc requests and assist with special projects and other initiatives as needed
Execute performance management programs and build manager capability that drives best in class performance
Work with the internal learning and development team to align initiatives to drive performance and process improvements.
Drive employee engagement through data analysis and coaching leaders to have effective action plans based on results
Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure a robust pipeline of talent is available internally and externally to meet current and future business needs.
Credible champion of talent: identification development and engagement.
Assist in facilitating organizational change through business leaders. Able to assess the readiness willingness and ability for change and modify plans accordingly.
Contribute to organization design and execute organizational changes.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Solid written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation/facilitation and coaching skills to all levels of the organization
Excellent judgement critical thinking and analytical skills with an ability to identify problems collect data and make appropriate recommendations
Great interpersonal and collaboration skills
Flexible innovative proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
Knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
Keen sense of customer service and urgency
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business or human resources or equivalent experience required
4-6 years experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role required
Some previous SaaS or technology company experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
Additional Requirements and Details:
Travel required up to 10% of the time
Located and working from an office location when required
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer etc.)
