Job Summary
Summary
The Data Governance Lead will enhance data governance initiatives by creating Collibra data governance tooling. The incumbent will have a deep understanding of Collibra implementation data governance frameworks metadata management and regulatory compliance. This role involves close collaboration with business and engineering stakeholders to drive data governance adoption improve data quality and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design for data stewardship frameworks in alignment with Collibras capabilities.
- Create workflows and operating models within Collibra.
- Create standards to support the enterprise build out of business glossaries.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies standards and best practices across the organization.
- Drive data lineage metadata management and stewardship programs.
- Create frameworks for data quality rules and ensure continuous monitoring of data assets.
- Collaborate with Collibra product owner to ensure seamless integration with data management roles and processes.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR CCPA HIPAA etc.).
- Conduct data governance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to governance policies.
- Support the Enterprise Data Council and escalation of data governance related issues.
- Build out a data literacy program to support the education and data producers owners consumers and stewards.
Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors including but not limited to the relevant market skills experience and education of the selected candidate.
