We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their future education. Duties:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
  • Document observations and complete pedagogical narrations
  • Provide individualized guidance to support each childs needs
  • Monitor and assess each childs development and progress
  • Collaborate with families colleagues and communicate regularly about childrens progress.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language a must
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

  • License to practice as an Early Childhood Educator and/or Infant and Toddler Educator
  • Valid First Aid/CPR
  • Food Safe (Basic - Level 1)
  • Clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Justice
  • 2-3 positive professional references
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and open-ended play based learning
  • Familiar with BCs Early Learning Framework ECEBCs Code of Ethics and ECPN
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
  • Knowledgeable about childrens nutritional needs to educate about our Nutrition Program

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hours plus a $6 Government Wage Enhancement ($29.00-$32.00)

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
