Job Description
The University Chapel Student Intern serves as a key leader in the spiritual life of the campus by helping create meaningful and engaging worship experiences. This role involves leading worship services organizing and rehearsing with the worship team and assisting with the technical and logistical aspects of chapel gatherings.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Plan and lead worship during weekly chapel services. Facilitate music practices and schedule rehearsals for the worship band. Recruit train and encourage student band members and vocalists. Plan weekly worship sets in coordination with the Chaplain. Assist with setup and teardown of the sound system and stage equipment. Collaborate with Chaplain and student leaders to foster a culture of excellence creativity and spiritual growth through music. Assist in identifying and recruiting other students to join the Spiritual Life Leadership Team. Meet with the Chaplain for planning for an hour once a week.
